I thought I would tell a little bit about my Dad! He is the greatest & he is my Hero! I have never heard my dad raise his voice or yell at us. We always knew we were in trouble by Dad's "look", & when he gave you that look, you knew you were in BIG trouble! I guess I didn't inherit the no yelling from my Dad, but I did inherit the look, but it doesn't work on my kids like my Dad's did on us! My Dad will be 83 this year. I am blessed to have such a great Dad. Happy Father's Day to all the great Dad's out there!
ReplyDeleteThere are several things about my dad that are favorites of mine. One though, is how he goes off on tangents so easily and it makes me laugh how he is so expressive all the time when he is talking (there is absolutely no way he can talk if his hands were tied down). I also love how he can be very sweet and loving and how much he loves my mom!!!
ReplyDeleteMy dad loves the outdoors. He is always camping, fishing, or hunting. We love to go camping every summer with him. He is also a great grandpa! He will sit there and help my boys shoot his pellet gun, which is their favorite thing to do! I couldn't ask for a better dad!
ReplyDeleteMy dad had a farm, and he taught us how to work for what we get. I think that is lacking in today's society somewhat.
